| Brekke Associates, Inc. is a family-owned and operated
business. Milo and Mark Brekke (father and son, respectively) formed Brekke Associates in 1985 as a
partnership. In 1999, Lee Brekke (another son) joined the organization as a co-owner, and the
business was incorporated as Brekke Associates, Inc. Mark and Lee have continued with the organization after Milo's death in December 2004. |
| Mark J. Brekke M.A.
specializes in project design and management, data management
and reporting, software development, and group facilitation.
Since the late 1970's, Mark has applied these skills to research
in health care and religion, as well as customer and employee
survey administration and reporting for businesses. He is a
skillful and accomplished team leader in business, church, and
community. Mark holds degrees in mathematics and religious studies, with
additional training in psychology,
sociology, and computer science. He bikes, plays various sports,
leads and/or sings in several church choirs, plays flute, and is a public speaker regarding depression and suicide.

| Lee N. Brekke Ph.D
is an excellent statistical analyst, model builder, and
software developer. Holding degrees in mathematics and physics,
over the past 20 years Lee has developed a variety of models
employing methods from calculus, group theory, number theory,
differential equations, statistics, and topology. He is also
an award-winning teacher with a demonstrated ability to take
complicated, abstract concepts and make them understandable
to the untrained listener.

| Milo L. Brekke Ph.D
was involved in research in religion, health care, and
education from the late 1960's until his death in 2004. He specialized in the
development of measurement and evaluation instrumentation,
and in the interpretation and summarization of both quantitative
and qualitative data. He held degrees in psychology, Christianity,
philosophy, German, philosophy of science, and educational
psychology. Milo was also an ordained Lutheran pastor,
and held a part-time call at Word of Peace Lutheran Church in
Rogers, MN at the time of his death. As a co-founder of Brekke Associates,
Milo had a profound impact on the organization's direction, philosophy, and research techniques.
These influences continue within the current organization through his sons, Mark and Lee.
